  5. This archive contains a PT1.1b executable that was patched to RUN under
  6. Kickstart 2.04. It is just a hack until a newer version of the program is
  7. released, so USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
  8.  
  9. *** PLEASE NOTE ***
  10.  
  11. ProTracker 1.1b was not meant to run under Kickstart 2.0!  Be careful
  12. running programs in the background like commodities or anything with
  13. hotkeys!  If ProTracker doesn't respond to qualifiers then you have
  14. some program in the input chain which is causing the problem.  Either
  15. disable it or lower its priority below 20.  I have changed ProTracker's
  16. input handler priority to 64 which should lock out all CX_POPKEY input
  17. handlers.  If need it higher, change byte offset 2933 in the file.

  19. If you are running Arq, you should note that hitting the "`" key to return
  20. to the system, will flip back and return you immediately to ProTracker.
  21. Either disable Arq or click outside it's window before ProTracker flips back.
  22. Note: Returning to ProTracker may take a few secs.

  24. Also Remember to disable screen and mouse blankers!  Since we are running
  25. ProTracker's input handler at a high priority, (unless you change it),
  26. you won't be able to turn the screen/mouse back on!

  28. *** WARNING ***

  30. And lastly, don't use the "MOUNTL." function in the PLST window under 2.0!
  31. This function will freeze ProTracker and guru!
